How Wizkid Lost N12million
Star-Boy, Wizkid will not be performing at this year’s edition of the annual Nigerian Breweries PLC sponsored musical concert roadshow, Star Trek.
photo
The reason why Wizkid wasn't added to the list of entertainers performing at the Star Trek event was due to issues surrounding his performance fee.
The source said that WizKid was initially offered a whopping N3 million per show and was given a total of four shows which would have seen him walk away with a fat sum of N12 million, but his managers were said to have turned down the deal saying the amount was too small for an artiste of Wizkid caliber.
The organizers were tempted by the electrifying artiste and upped the amount to a huge N5 million per show but quickly changed their minds and replaced him with two other musicians for less the amount offered WizKid.
Sources also claim that when Wizzy realized that the organizers weren’t going to increase the initial N3 million fee, he ran back to the Iganmu, the headquarters of the brewery company with mentor Banky W but was turned down as he realized he had been replaced by two other artistes

Mercy Aigbe, Ebube Nwagbo Define Beauty
No doubt, Mercy Aigbe-Gentry and Ebube Nwagbo are two movie stars that can be described as ‘hot and charming’ by all ramifications. They are smoky materials that will cost a man 40 days of prayer and dry fasting just to have them for keeps.
Being as hot and sexy as they are, it came as no surprise when the organizers of Miss Global Nigeria chose them as judges for their beauty contest.
When both women were approached to find out what their definition of beauty is, they both gave different definitions.
According to Ebube, “beauty is about having the class, presence and above all, the brains. It is not easy to be an African woman and Nigerian for that matter, you just have to have the total package. It is not just about the looks, it is farther than that".
Mercy Aigbe said, “physical attributes has something to do with beauty, but it goes beyond that. You must have brains, that is, should be intelligent. You must also be talented. But the physical appearance is very important. It is a 50-50 thing. You must be eloquent, and have the carriage.”
There you have it from these two smoky hot actresses

Kim and Kanye Spent $750,000 On What?
When it comes to money, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West definitely have a lot of it. That is why it may not be such a big deal for them to drop more than $750,000 on, say, something like gold toilets.
British tabloid The Sun claims Kardashian and West spent around $767,000 on four gold-plated toilets for their swanky new Bel Air, Calif., mansion.
They also reportedly dropped $444,000 on six special beds and nearly $325,000 on kitchen appliances, plus a Swarovski crystal-encrusted fridge freezer.
This isn't the first time the reality star has been linked to an over-the-top commode. Last year, another tabloid report claimed Kardashian spent $100,000 on a self-flushing toilet. She purportedly made the purchase because she was scared of guests forgetting to flush on their own.
While staying with mom Kris Jenner, the 32-year-old has criticized the black shower and black toilet paper in Jenner's house. Back when she was married to Kris Humphries, she complained about the NBA star's bathroom habits, including how he spritzed the mirror while brushing his teeth.

She also stated that she has never regretted 'drinking, smoking, clubbing, partying, meeting with people' except dating her ex-boyfriend 2shotz.
The rapper weeks ago denied getting engaged with the video vixen/model.
Beverly shocked Nigerian audiences when she got extra cosy with Angelo two weeks ago.
"You Are A Cheap Woman That Sleeps With Another Woman’s Husband"- Fans Blast Stella Damasus
Nollywood actress, Stella Damasus has been attacked by fans who lambasted her saying she lacks the integrity to abuse the senators who are in support of child marriage in Nigeria.
The mother of two recently vented her anger in a video about the current child marriage issue in Nigeria.
See tweets below and an Anonymous write up below
"I saw your Video on girl child marriage, well, I don't think you shot the video because of the purpose we are all fighting for," the fan said.
"But you shot the video because of cheap publicity, going all the way to produce a video, talking and spitting saliva on the screen.
Responsible citizens like, Abudu(EbonyTV), Hon. Abike Dabiri, Wole Soyinka etc didn't go all the way to insult the first Lady but they are wise people who let out their opinion without abusing the office of the first Lady. Must you go all the way to show your adulterous face on the screen?
Other reasonable citizens tweets via (Twitter), Comments on Facebook and even send press release. If you need an interview to talk on girl child marriage, walk majestically to any media house, but not you, Stella.
Remember, Reuben Abati, when he was still an Editor in one of the National Newspapers, he did the same to Dame patience Jonathan in 2010, he figured out all the mistakes First lady made. Now, he is the Special Adviser to the president on Media and Publicity.
And now you Stella, you wanted to be SA to the governor of your state and recognition from Aso Rock.
You are not different from Senator Yerima because you are a cheap woman that sleeps with another woman's husband.
Keeping the man in your territory. I will support women in all ramifications.
You've lost your heart and conscience when Aboderin (Stella's first husband) died. God will Judge you in anger one day."

Joseph Yobo Denies Ordering Mother-in-law Out Of His House
There were rumours recently making rounds that Super Eagles captain Joseph Yobo sent his mother-in-law, Mrs Abigail Igwe Fashanu packing from his home for being a bad influence on her daughter, his wife, Adaeze Igwe.
Yobo has come up to say that its all rumour and there's no truth in it.
''There's is no iota of truth in the report that has gained grounds of recent. There was no encounter of the such that was described to have happened between my mother-in-law and I. We as a family are in the best of place in our lives currently. Someone from some place, just sat down and decided to construct a lie, a total fabrication from their own imagination.
"I love my wife very much, nothing anyone does can bring any division between us and between our families. There was never a time that I sent my Mother-in-Law packing from my home for being a bad influence on her own daughter, who is my wife. How can people just come up with stories about what never happened," he said.
A few days back, regarding the issue of BBA housemate Angelo "Fingering" Nigeria representative, Beverly, Charles Novia expresses his opinion by saying South Africa has "Fingered" and "sub-raped" Nigeria.
A conclusion which a Nigerian BBA fan did not agree with.
He responds to Novia's analysis below;
Bloggers have been posting an article by Nigerian's umm " actor/director/producer/executive producer/screen writer/ location manager/Husband/ Father/ possibly Grandfather to name a few (dodges bullets) named Charles Novia. In this article Uncle Charles (in a bid to be polite) states that South Africa has "FINGER3D and SUB-R^PED" Nigeria.
My issue with this statement is that it is a "Flammable" statement. You should know better and not use words like "R^PE" in such a context. One major underlying factor of BBA is to "UNITE AFRICA" whereby various African countries live together under one roof and get to know each though in competition with one another. Please Uncle Charles we mere BBA fanatics dare you to come up with a captivating show uniting Africa where no country will run the risk of being 'FINGER3D' by another country.
It is sad to note that Narrow minded Old Folks like you are the reason why most African Countries are still backward in terms of Development and Liberty. Yes Africans go on and on about how we fought for FREEDOM from the WHITE MAN but the question still remains how are we going to fight for FREEDOM FROM OURSELVES??? Please answer if you can. BBA is a show that Majority of Africa has embraced and is here to stay in terms of entertainment. In your bid to reinvent yourself in the entertainment industry please go about it in a classy way and not cheaply rubbing off from others publicity. This STUNT of yours has RUN its course so let it be.
In conclusion, live your life as you see fit and leave others to do the same. Good night.

How Actress, Omotola Jalade Survived 17 Years Of Marriage
Celebrity marriages are sometimes not easy to maintain this is because they are public figures and with the constant media poke-nosing in their private lives.
We have seen and heard of many actresses whose marriages have failed.
Sexy actress, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde has successfully pushed through all the hurdles and still stands firm as a married woman.
This singular achievement has made her more respected and loved by millions! But what really has kept her marriage so far?
Well of course her husband's trust in her for starters. In an interview Omotola's husband, Capt. Mathew Ekeinde stated how much he trusts his wife.
According to him "If I see Omotola with seven men in a bedroom, I won't be moved because I trust my wife" . He also said he is faithful to his wife "Well I don't sleep around" he affirmed
Omotola getting married early and having four grown up kids also helped. Because even if at some point Omotola or her hubby wanted out of the union, because of the children, they would have had a rethink!
Well despite the negative media she has had in her career from been allegedly linked in several sex scandals with top Nollywood big boys like Tchidi Chikere, Richard Mofe Damijo and others, God has kept her going.
The cliché has been "behind every successful man there is a woman", in this case, it is wise to say "behind Omotola's successful marriage there is a trusting husband and God's grace!

Many beautiful girls were called, but only one was chosen. The lucky pick was 18-year-old Anna Banner, who was, on Saturday night, crowned the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria for 2013.
She emerged from a haven of 31 other delicately pretty contestants that had, in the preceding two weeks, been camped in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, where they went through different forms of training and related with natives as they toured various parts of the state.
With the victory, soft-spoken Banner, who was, interestingly, introduced to the competition by a friend, will be in Indonesia later in the year, where her beauty resources will face a global test, as she will represent Nigeria at the Miss World pageant. This is apart from the ovation that greeted her victory as she was declared the winner, at the peak of a finale that set Yenagoa ablaze with music, dance and inspirational banters from celebrities that trooped in from different parts of the country and beyond.
Among the celebrities were Nollywood star, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, who Bayelsa State Governor, Serieke Dickson, saluted in a dramatic way when the organisers gave her a recognition award.
He said, "Seeing you closely, I can now understand why you are called Omo Sexy."
But the day primarily belonged to Banner, whose star prize is a brand new car. Sheer beauty also won her some other accompanying prizes that include an appointment as a honorary special assistant to Dickson - on culture and tourism.
Awed by the elevation, the crowned teenager could not say much immediately.
"This is awesome," she eventually said. "I am very glad. I feel overwhelmed with joy. Initially, I did not hear very clearly when the judges announced my name as the winner. I don't really know what to say, I can only thank the almighty God for making this a reality."
Now as a cultural ambassador for the Niger Delta state, Banner, who was Miss Bayelsa in the 26th edition at the MGBN, organised by Silverbird Group, intends to inspire youths into noble ideals which, she says, are what the entire country and African continent should pursue.
"I will do my best not to disappoint anyone. I have a passion for helping people, and this is the time for me to actualise this dream. I want to help people in the area of education and in creating inspiring youths to pursue their dreams without allowing any kind of distractions. One thing I am taking away from this pageant is that you will never know where you will be tomorrow," she notes.
Other winners at the pageant are Miss Kano (Blessing Obi), who was named Miss Photogenic; Miss Akwa Ibom (Fontanne Bassey), as Miss Amity and Miss Ogun (Aderonke Tiamiyu) as Miss Charismatic. Banner was also named the best in traditional costume.

What One Legendary Rapper Thinks of Kanye's, Jay-Z's New Albums
Before Shawn Corey Carter picked a stylized version of the word "Jehova" (J-Hova, "Hov") for a nickname and well before Kanye West decided to shed his "slave name" in favour of his "God name," "Yeezus," there was U-God.
Born Lamont Jody Hawkins, the Staten Island rapper with the distinctly rugged voice took his place in rap history in Wu-Tang Clan, the legendary group credited with transforming rap and bringing a street sound to new levels of popularity.
"Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers)," the group's debut album, turns 20 years old this November, giving U-God plenty of time to reflect and build upon two decades of experience in the rap game. On Tuesday, the Staten Island rapper is releasing "Keynote Speaker," an album that features Method Man, Inspectah Deck, GZA, RZA and more. U-God described the album as "his becoming" in an interview with HuffPost Entertainment - one that has been a long time coming, at that.
"I'm coming to the podium to tell my story," he said. "That's the meaning of the record - I'm talking like Obama and saying my speech, like someone giving a piece of his mind and his element."
In keeping with that theme, U-God has words for Kanye and Jay-Z. The two other self-proclaimed God MCs have both released controversial albums in the past two months, and U-God didn't shy away from making his preference known. Jay's "Magna Carta Holy Grail" earned a much warmer review: "Jay's in a creative zone, and he had to adjust to the digital age. He had to make that transition like any other artist. I look at this as a transitional album for him. The man is always going to have lyrics and be rhyming. That's just what he do. It's all good, man."
West, in U-God's estimation, "is getting too far away" on "Yeezus": "Tell him there's no sound in space. He's got to come back on planet Earth. Space is a vacuum. There's no sound in space. Earth is where it's at. Come back down baby, come back."
It's that level of confidence and nearly untouchable authority which positions U-God and the other members of Wu-Tang Clan as hip-hop godfathers of sorts. And from his vantage point, the game is certainly lacking in some respects, and hip-hop culture has been weakened as a result.
"It was about struggle and hardship," U-God said of rap's birth. "It wasn't about making a bitch or a nigga look silly, which is what it has grown into. When we came out, we changed the whole dynamic because we brought the whole street rap to the game. Right now, it's getting away from that, and you need to keep that core element. Because people are going through hardship, it's not always good. You have to appeal to those people - it's out there. If someone doesn't speak to that, someone else will come and fill the void. It's rough out here, with Trayvon Martin, people shooting each other in the streets in Chicago and the lack of jobs. You have to keep that in the focus."
That focus should also apply to one's own craft, the 42-year-old said. U-God bristled at mention of J. Cole's claims that his sophomore album, "Born Sinner," was proof that he was at a Jay Z and Nas level of talent. "See, my whole thing is, with respect, dude's got to earn that," he said. "Don't just talk about it. I don't like it when dude's just talking in the air, it's like taking a gun out and shooting in the air. Naw, man. Just keep coming - just keep making music until people bow down like that."
But that doesn't mean he thinks only older artists are worthy. He actually likes J. Cole's music, though it's Kendrick Lamar who earned U-God's biggest praises. "That's my little man right there," he said. "There's a long list of younger brothers coming up, but what makes my blood boil is when I hear my brothers like Jay and Nas rapping. There are just certain dudes that when they spit - like P[rodigy] from Mobb Deep - when I hear them rhyme, it just triggers something in me. That's how you're supposed to do it. Kendrick got my blood boiling like that, too. He has that spark, like, Oooh. Lil Wayne has my blood boiling too - he be saying some fly shit. Drake too, man! I don't know why niggas frontin' on Drake. He has rhymes, man. He's getting it in. I'm not trying to be like him, but I'm not going to front on you, I like his style of music. Everyone who is in touch with their individuality - I enjoy it. That's what hip-hop is about."
U-God claims he never really thought about whether or not Wu-Tang would be around for two decades: "It just came into reality more or less. We had a good transition and made some good choices and some bad choices in life. This is one of the good ones." And while he's spoken somewhat openly about current discord within the group, he said working with RZA on "Keynote Speaker" was the epitome of a no-brainer (RZA has produced most of the output of Wu-Tang Clan, including both group and solo projects).
"This is my family, so when you have a family and you have a discrepancy, you still have to take care of situations," U-God said. "You're going to go through ups and downs. But we stick together because we just understand. And that's love - the highest level of elevation is love. And he has heat, so even if he's mad at me, I'm going to go to his house and say, 'Give me my shit.'"
Actors Squabble Over Nigerian Government’s N3bn Grant
The N3 billion grant given to Nigerian actors by the federal government is already causing major acrimony among them.
A sharp division has arisen among the actors, members of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) with key players having different stance on how the money should be shared. The state chairmen of the guild met in Abuja on July 18 on the modalities to adopt in disbursing the grants.
The National Chairman and Secretary of the guild, Agility Onwurah and Samuel Onibiyo, however, in separate interviews accused some practitioners of wanting to divert the grant. Mr. Onwurah accused some known movie producers of making moves to divert the grant for their use while leaving the upcoming artists behind.
He said some were making surreptitious move of getting the money all alone, and that portended a great danger for those who are coming up. "While practitioners suffered lack of funds and humiliation in the quest of producing films, some people were working to ensure that the guild remained static," he alleged.
He said that the chairmen had resolved that the grant be used on production and distribution of movies. The national chairman said they had paid a visit to the National Film and Video Censors Board (NFVCB) and briefed them on the moves by some reputable producers trying to divert the grants for their use. He said that the board had assured of its timely intervention in the crisis, adding that the crisis would soon be resolved.
Mr. Onibiyo, in his reaction, berated the conduct of those he described as "star actors" whom he alleged wanted to use the fund for their schools. He said the demand, if granted, would send the industry to the backstage, adding that those practitioners, who were already established, should not be allowed to take over the grant.
A prominent actress fingered in the controversy, Stephanie Okereke, debunked the allegation, describing it as baseless and unfounded. She said that the grant was broken into three stages; production, distribution and training. She directed the leadership of the guild to the Minister of Finance, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, on the modalities earlier agreed on the grant.
She said that some people had written to the minister stating that they no longer needed the money while some were working to ensure that the grant reached the intended practitioners. She called on practitioners not to tear the industry apart, while threatening to sue anyone who made unsubstantiated allegations against her.
BBA: Beverly and Angelo Say Their First ‘I Love You’
Angelo and Beverly have been close pals in the house, especially after the 'fingering' thing. Here's what Angelo told our very own Beverly:
"Beverly, I respect you and I love you and I know you've been through things in life. Life is bigger than just having sex with you. Maybe you think you have to give it up to make me love you, but just know I love you", Angelo told Beverly during a steamy date in the Rendezvous Room.
The Nigerian model replies: 'I love you', as the two continued in their heart to heart chat, plotting the future of their relationship.
Last week the pair were involved in an intense kissing session that led to a sexual act.
Remedies Star Eddy Montana Resurrects in Asaba
During the Asaba tour of Star music trek, Eddy, Ex husband of popular entertainer KSB made a surprise appearance on stage perfoming the Remedies hit Sha Ko Mo and others.

Popularly called Eddy Montana, the singer-songwriter was a star act of the popular nineties group The Remedies - also made up of Tony Tetuila and Eedris Abdulkareem.
The pioneer hip-hop band garnered numerous awards around the country and is still a reference point in the Nigerian pop music industry.
Another nineties act, Tony One Week of Gyration fame, who's now a politician also made a surprise appearance during the 4th leg of The Trek, which held in Enugu.

BBA: Selly Back With boyfriend, Admits Making Out With Nando
Following the end of the chase for Big Brother housemate Selly, the Ghanaian has gone back to her boyfriend before the show started, Praye Tiatia.
Selly immediately confessed her unflinching love for him, with Praye maintaining that Selly's well publicized love-sessions were all part of a game plan.
"I love Big J (Praye Tiatia) and we are not breaking up, we are even stronger together and I want to take this opportunity to say I thank him a lot for being my tower of strength, even before I return from South Africa people told him to dump me but he has been so supportive," Selly said.
This is contrary to recent media report, which quoted her as saying she loved BBA housemate Nando and wished he would win the show.
There has been a gargantuan controversy around Selly and Nando following the latter's confession that he and Selly had an affair in the house and Selly had infected him with a sexually transmitted disease (STD).
Selly has said she never had sex with Nando and that both of them were tested and no such disease was found on her, so she suspects Nando might have picked up the infection from a toilet seat.
"I have no STDs and I have a medical report to prove that" she stated emphatically".
She admitted to making out with Nando in the house, but denied there was penetration, adding that the controversy has strengthened her relationship with boyfriend Praye Tiatia aka 'Big J'.
'Big J is the best guy I have ever known in my life because in the midst of all these confusion he was my strength. My friends in South Africa thought I was going to be crucified when I return to Ghana but Big J encouraged me to return and clear the air,' she said with pride.
Selly said she was very surprised at the media report linking her to Nando as lovers, and quoting her as saying she wants Nando to win.
She said she actually wishes either Melvin or Elikem won the show and not Nando.
'I wonder why the media in my own country are so judgmental while their colleagues in South Africa have been so supportive of me,' she asked.
Meanwhile, boyfriend Big J is alleged to have said in another forum that whatever Selly did in the house was part of her game plan, but he does not believe she had an affair with Nando.

I say no to the Senate Bill endorsing child marriage – Omotola Ekeinde’s speech at MBGN 2013 finale
After sending out a couple of tweets about corruption and healthcare last month, nollywood actress, Omotola Ekeinde, who was one of the judges for xthe 2013 Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria finale that held in Bayelsa yester night, spoke on the senate bill endorsing child marriage in Nigeria.
Omotola delivered an emotional speech on the trending topic of child marriage.Read the transcript of the speech.
“I am Today one of the Most influential person/people in the world because I wasn’t given off to marriage before the age of 18.
It scares and totally shocks me that the Senate in Nigeria (the most populous Black nation in the world and Giant of Africa) would not be passing in a law ensuring that every child should compulsorily be enrolled in school.
A very alarming number of children today are on the streets hawking or have been abused, raped or are married to men/women who should be protecting them.
Who protects the children of Nigeria?
Would we wait for another Milala before we act?
Should we now remove the parental caution on movies that say “Not for persons below 18″.
This is a call for justice and equity for children especially the Nigerian Girl child, who has the right to quality education, a childhood and the decision of whom and when to marry.
My Name is Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde and I say No to phedophilia and No to the senate Bill endorsing Child marriage in Nigeria.”
At the end of her speech, she was presented with a Silverbird Unique Personality Award.
Woman Rapes 14-Year-Old Boy After Getting Him High On Cannabis
A woman who took a 14-year-old boy to a hotel for sex and got him high on cannabis has been jailed for more than two years.
Natalie Williams, of Darlington, was told by a judge yesterday she had preyed upon the teenager and failed to appreciate why what she had done was so wrong.
The 22-year-old used a bank card he had stolen from his family to pay for the overnight hotel stay and drugs, and regularly withdrew money on it.
Teesside Crown Court heard that after she was arrested, she deliberately got pregnant with a new boyfriend - thought to be an attempt to stay out of prison.
But Judge Simon Bourne-Arton, QC, told her that would not dissuade him from locking her up - because a man who preyed on a young girl would face jail.
He said: 'The law sets out to protect those that are under the age of consent, whether they are boys or girls, from those who would take advantage of their youth.
'They are not to be preyed upon by those who are older than them, and certainly over the age of consent, and that is why these are very serious offences.'
Williams' lawyer disputed a psychologist's report saying her pregnancy was deliberate, but the judge said: 'She describes it as planned - when she was facing these proceedings.'
He added: 'That shows not only a level of immaturity, but also irresponsibility... I do not take into account, in any way, that you are pregnant.'
Ben Pegman, mitigating, said: 'She has been in a relationship for six months and would take issue with the proposition she puts it before the court to avoid custody.
'The sentencing guidelines greatly alarm her. She is of previous good character. I suspect the court will never see this lady again. My plea is to ask you to suspend any custodial sentence.
'She now realises he didn't have sufficient maturity, more than that, that it was unlawful. She simply hasn't thought it through. It hasn't gone through her head at the time.
'Clearly, there is an acceptance from the defendant that her behaviour was wrong. As to how much insight she has got into that, I think, it is a moot point.'
Williams, of Close Street, Darlington, admitted three charges of sexual activity with a child, attempted sexual touching, fraud and handling stolen goods.
She was jailed for a total of two years and four months.

The marriage of Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria 2008, Adaeze Igwe and Super Eagles captain Joseph Yobo is at the moment experiencing some turbulence, this your darling magazine National Enquirer can exclusively reveal. The love birds who got married in a hush manner, barely three months after meeting in December 2009 are said to be patching things so as not to caught the attention of the press and public in general.
According to impeccable sources close to the Yobos, the reason for the squabbles is highly connected to Adaeze’s mother, Mrs. Abigail Igwe now Fashanu after she married the former Footballer turned business man in 2011.
Joseph Yobo and Adaeze’s mum our grapevine revealed became sworn enemies when the Fernabarche of Turkey skipper got wind of her plans to crash his marriage.
It was reliably revealed that the woman who’s married to her third husband with Adaeze and her younger sister from different men, allegedly controls the marriage to the extent of advising her daughter against getting pregnant for Yobo even after Joey, their son is almost three.
The reason she gave her daughter, we further learnt is because she needed to get back into her sexy shape just in case things no longer work out between her and her Plateau born hubby and might require her re-marrying.
She was also alleged to have instigated Adaeze’s hush return to school barely a year after her marriage as the ex-model is presently furthering her studies in far away Santa Monica College, Los Angeles, USA, where she is reading Communication while her husband and son are in Turkey.
The goal hunter who used to play for Everton of England before making a switch to Turkish side Fernabarche also allegedly found out that Mrs. Fashanu could have a hand in Adaeze’s frequent request of money for irrelevant things as she’s said to have developed an unexplainable interest for frequent shopping.
The last straw that broke the camel’s back, our source revealed was when Adaeze’s mother’s visit was becoming too frequent in the Yobo’s Turkish home as she would storm their apartment unannounced and always interfere in every little argument that ensue between the growing couple.
This we learnt eventually led to her ban, as Yobo officially informed her to stop coming to their home as her interference is doing their marriage no good. Adaeze’s mum was also not invited for Joey’s 2nd birthday party which held in their home in Turkey and insiders dispensed that Adaeze has been asked to choose between her mum and her home as she’s not needed in their home for now nor invited to any of their parties.

Secrets of My New Look- Rita Dominic @38
Last Friday, July 12 was Nollywood diva, Rita Dominic’s birthday. Naturally the day would have been awash with a birthday bash thrown by her or on her behalf. But surprisingly, the 2012 AMAA Best Actress Award winner was indoors even as friends and fans took to the social media to congratulate her.
However the fair skinned thespian stepped out last Sunday looking smashingly beautiful as usual as she carted away with the Nollywood Face of the Year Award at City People Entertainment Awards.
In a brief chat with Sunday Express, Rita said the secret of her new look was her spa treatment which the Mbaise, Imo State-born actress uses to pamper herself. “I make sure that I get to the spa for some ‘me alone’ time. I also exercise almost every day to deal with stress. I go to the spa to pamper myself. I believe in massages and therapeutic body treatment to remove the toxins in my body”.
Obviously what’s on the mind of her numerous fans is when and who Rita Dominic will walk down the aisle with? Trust her; she never discloses much having succeeded to keep that part of her life. She says, “Marriage is a personal journey and you cannot look at others to judge your own marriage. My ideal family will be to be married to a good man with a couple of children.”
“I cry when I see human beings suffer especially sick people and I am helpless about it. My mum’s birthday still bring tears to my eyes. I am thankful each day that God has been good to me. My typical day changes everyday. When I am not at work, I typically wake up in the morning, pray and then get in about two hours of exercise. After that, I will eat and then chat with fans on facebook and twitter. I watch a lot of films as well”, Rita says.

Sultry actress Rita Dominic has always been known to be on top of her game. Her efforts in the industry have continued to earn her a lot of laurels, and last weekend was not different as she added another feather to her cap when she won the Face of Nollywood award at this year's edition of the City People Awards.
Rita beats the likes of Genevieve Nnaji, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, Funke Akindele, among others, to win the coveted prize. It would be recalled that she won the Most Outstanding Actress award in 2004.
The recent award ceremony, however, held at Heavens Event Centre, Ikeja, Lagos, and was graced by who is who in the industry. Rita, in her usal style, looked stunning in her black outfit which stole the hearts of fashionists at the event.

For sexy Ghanaian actress, Yvonne Nelson, heartbreak is a painful experience best avoided. Not exactly in the mood to relive her sensational breakup with popular Afro-hip hop act, Iyanya, she ended up doing so just to set the records straight. The actress was in the country to premiere her latest movie, "House of Gold" at the Silverbird Cinema, Lagos, yesterday, and opened up on sundry issues. Now bears Nigerian name, Damilola: Excerpt:
How are you enjoying your stay in Nigeria?
Did I tell you I'm half-Nigerian and half-Ghanaian? I was given a Nigerian name recently which makes me half-Nigerian. My Nigerian name is Damilola. It has been wonderful, I always say Nigeria is like a home for me. When I'm here, I do not feel like going back home again. But it's just that everything seems to be faster here.
You are in the country to premiere your latest movie. What's the movie all about?
The movie is titled, 'House of Gold.' It is a family-oriented comedy, and I want people to come and see two of Africa's music stars Ice Prince and Omawumi make their debut in a movie. I produced the movie in partnership with Media Ghana.
"House of Gold" tells the story of Dan Ansah Williams, a high-flying entrepreneur, business mogul, polygamist and socialite who is battling with cancer and has six weeks to live. With the help of his long-time associate and legal representative, he embarks on a mission to recall all his children, most of whom were born out of wedlock, back home.
Yvonne Nelson
Dan's last wish is to have all his children under one roof for seven days so they will get to know one another and bond due to the fact that they share the same blood line. However, that reunion proves a little more than everyone bargained for as each child indeed returns with an agenda, and this sets the stage for the most hilarious and bizarre seven days of their lives. I'm urging people to come and see the movie because they are going to laugh and have a nice time.
How did you get Ice Prince and Omawumi to star in the movie?
It was very challenging given the fact that they are busy people, always performing at shows. I have my own way of doing things. I spoke to them and they gave me their time and schedules, so I worked with it. We spent about 15 days on set.
Your first movie, 'Single and Married' was also directed by Paschal Amanfo, what do you have with him?
Paschal is one of the best directors in Ghana. He is a very straightforward director and it's very easy working with him. You would like to work with somebody who helps make things go smoothly while on set.
What's your experience like working with Ice Prince and Omawumi on set?
They were amazing on set. Ice Prince was the one who really shocked me because he had a show a night before joining us on set. He did not even sleep, as he took the next flight to Ghana and the moment he stormed the set, he started reading his script and mastering his lines. Omawumi was so good that I was tempted to ask her why she's not into acting in Nigeria. I also had the funniest Nigerian actor,Francis Odega, on set.
Why did you decide to star the duo in your film?
It's my own marketing strategy as a producer. I believe they have their own fan base and audiences. I wanted to spice up things. When you watch my movie, my cast are usually very interesting. People are sick and tried of seeing the same Nollywood and Ghollywood faces in our movies. I could have used notable Nollywood actors, but I just wanted to spice up things because I don't think people are expecting what they are definitely going to see in the movie.
Controversies have been trailing your acting career in recent times; from your break-up with Iyanya to accusations that you bleached your body and more recently, an article posted online where you lamented that Iyanya used and dumped you. Why all these controversies?
Did anybody hear me say that? Nobody used and dumped me. As journalists, you should know that your colleagues are fond of using sensational headlines to drag traffic to their blogs and websites. At the end of the day, I did not say somebody used and dumped me. I don't remember saying anything like that.
But what actually happened between you and Iyanya?
I guess it is out there. I granted two interviews on this whole thing; Bella Naija and Toolz(The Juice). I don't want to repeat myself. My interviewers took what they wanted to take away from the interviews I granted them. I don't have any control over what they decide to publish or put out there.
You have moved on after the break -up?
It happened last year. The reason I granted those interviews was to let my fans know the truth about what transpired between Iyanya and myself. Sometimes, one's fans desire to know what's happening to their idol.

Why Rihanna's Suing A Major Clothing Store
Racks of T-shirts bearing Rihanna's image have been on display at London's High Court, where the singer is suing a British retailer for using her image.
Lawyers for the star seek damages from Arcadia Group Brands Ltd., which owns the Topshop fashion chain, after it sold shirts bearing her picture without permission.
The shirts were initially sold as the "Rihanna Tank" and then - after she complained - as the "Headscarf Girl Tank" and the "Icon Tank."
Rihanna's lawyers accuse Topshop of trying to pass off the T-shirt as being approved or authorized by the singer.
The store says Rihanna is seeking legal recognition for a flawed assumption that "only a celebrity or her successors may ever market, or license the marketing, of her own character."
A hearing was held Friday.

Nollywood actress, Uche Ogbodo in an interview talks about finding a man and marriage.
According to her: 'I want to be married someday. I am looking upon God for that. There is no rush in marriage; if you rush in, you rush out. And I do not even want to rush out of my future marriage'.
On getting too old to remain single "There is nothing like age in marriage. Maturity is what counts. It is fine with me. Even if I get married at 58, fine".
"My Marriage Is Still Intact" - Funke Akindele Cries Out
Star actress Funke Akindele, yesterday broke her silence on her failed marriage rumour.
"My marriage is intact", she said in an SMS message.
The message reads: "I read in the newspaper yesterday that I am divorced. What proof do you have? And I am taking this to court because my marriage is intact. You guys are rumour mongers. Funke Akindele Oloyede."
Her husband, Kehinde Oloyede on Monday announced a "separation" via his facebook page. He said: "It is with heavy heart that I am announcing the separation of me and my wife, Mrs Olufunke Akindele. We have both agreed to go our separate ways because of irreconcilable differences. We are still best of friends and we would forever remain good friends."
The statement, which the actress' husband has since deleted from his facebook wall, generated concerns among the star's fans, who made the issue a major topic on social media platforms.
Reports say her husband may have removed the "notice of separation," including a more defiance follow-up post from his facebook wall, due to pressure from friends and family members. The actress is said to have been crying inconsolably since the incident, fearing criticisms by her fans and her clients' reactions.
Funke's decision to marry the real estate business man, was severely criticised by her fans who wondered why she should get involved in polygamy. She rebuffed critics on one occasion, saying: "I can tell you authoritatively that my husband is not married to anyone else. Yes, he has beautiful children, who are not mine and we have a cordial relationship, which dates back to even before we got married."
On another occasion, she told her critics: "Will you be happier if I had married someone who didn't have children, seems so perfect, put on my make-up and fake smile on the red carpet and start weeping when I get home? About my in-laws, they are very wonderful and supportive and my parents and siblings as well. "
Meanwhile, apart from deleting the statement from his Facebook wall, Oloyede is yet to refute the announcement in any way.

Idols West Africa Winner Timi Dakolo Blasts Pastors Via Twitter
Earlier today, the West African Idol winner Timi Dakolo who is behind such lovely singles as the patriotic "Great Nation" and the romantic "Love Song" took to social networking website, Twitter to express his disdain for some religious leaders.
Here's what he tweeted:
I just saw this pastor at the airport with so many bodyguard…I am tempted to ask him,who wants to kill u sir?!
- Timi dakolo..(VOICE) (@timidakolo) July 17, 2013
Dear pastors, the Jesus in the bible is very simple..please stop making Him so complicated..
- Timi dakolo..(VOICE) (@timidakolo) July 17, 2013
Do you agree with Timi's social commentary or were his observations uncalled for? If CEOs can go around with security teams, why not pastors? On the other hand, Timi alludes that Jesus was very humble and the way the pastor was carrying himself may not have appeared so.
What do you guys think?

Oprah Winfrey To Pay Lindsay Lohan $2 Million To Talk About Her Life
Lindsay Lohan's guts don't come cheap, because we found out she's spilling them to Oprah at a cost of around 2 million dollars.
Sources close to Lindsay said, The Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN) has been negotiating with Lindsay for 4 months. The plan is an 8-part docu-series about Lindsay's struggles, her career and her plans for the future, but we're guessing it's mostly about her struggles.
It's a better deal for Lindsay than just taking her top off. For that Playboy paid her a measly $1 mil.
Ironically, Lindsay's latest rehab stint may have scored her more cash, because of the drama and interest created around almost going to jail, firing her lawyer, going to Betty Ford, bailing from Betty Ford and on and on.
Sources say Lindsay actually signed the deal at Betty Ford.
Lindsay got some perks from Oprah as well, as in two fully-paid assistants and a stylist.
Substance abuse can pay handsomely, Who knew?
Yvonne Nelson Is Messing With Me - John Dumelo
Ghanaian actress, Yvonne Nelson and John Dumelo seem to have a connection not many would understand.
In a recent interview Yvonne Nelson admitted her last kiss was with John Dumelo.
"It's been seven months. I'm like a secondary virgin right now, yeah! I haven't seen anyone, done nothing! I haven't even kissed. Oh yeah, I kissed John Dumelo in a movie. That's like my last kiss," Yvonne said.
Yvonne has denied been in a secret relationship with John saying "John is like my brother. He's a Fante guy. John has a girlfriend. John has a girlfriend....in London I guess. He's going to kill me"
Well John has come out to say his own part saying Yvonne Nelson was just playing with the public minds.
"I have watched the Yvonne Nelson's video interview and I think Yvonne Nelson was not serious with her statement. I know when Yvonne Nelson is serious and when she's joking. She was acting in the interview so there is no need of taking her statement serious. My girlfriend is not in UK," he said.
John Dumelo however said that at the right time when he feels like making the public know his girl-friend he will reveal it. "It is not a must to tell people who I am dating or if am dating or not but my girlfriend is not in UK," he added.

Akon Calls All African-Americans in USA to Move Back to Africa
Singer Akon, who was quite bitter with George Zimmerman not being found guilty of second-degree murder and manslaughter in the shooting death of 17 year old Trayvon Martin, posted this statement on his Instagram account yesterday.
The statement sparked a hot debate on his timeline as some of his fans agreed with him, some didn't.
Rihanna Angry over George Zimmerman's Release, Says Trayvon Martin Could Have Been Her Brother
Rihanna has hit out at a murder trial which threatened to spark race riots in America - saying a young black teen who was shot dead could have been her brother.
The singer vented anger after a white neighbourhood watch member was cleared of killing unarmed 17-year-old Trayvon Martin.
She took to Instagram after George Zimmerman walked free over the shooting ranting that the US criminal justice system was "phucked".
The 25-year-old singer spoke out on the matter the morning after Zimmerman, 29, was found not guilty.
Posting a photo of Trayvon on Instagram, Rihanna wrote: "A child was gunned down for no reason! And nothing about that sounds like murder? My baby brother is 17, this rocked my whole s***! #thesystemisandhasalwaysbeenphucked"
On Twitter she also said: "This is the saddest news ever!!! #whatsjustice #pray4theMartinFamily"
She added: "Only in America #TrayvonMartin"
The pop star then urged her 30MILLION followers to sign a petition to the Department of Justice.
She also criticised the American justice system saying: "A system cannot fail those it was never built to protect #JudicialFail"
Outrage poured from street demonstrations as protesters called for justice for the victim.
In New York City, hundreds of protesters marched into Times Square on Sunday night, zigzagging through the streets to avoid police lines.
Sign-carrying marchers thronged the busy intersection, chanting "Justice for Trayvon Martin!"
Beyonce Knowles' sister Solange held a rally for Trayvon to speak out against the Zimmerman verdict on Sunday afternoon.
World heavyweight boxing champion Lennox Lewis also took to Twitter to express anger at the verdict.
He said: "Let's hope this doesn't lead to the deaths of more black children. How u respond is most important right now."
George Zimmerman said he was defending himself and was cleared of second degree murder and manslaughter at a court in Florida on Saturday.

2Face is a Debtor- Black Face Fumes
Former member of the defunct music group, Plantashun Boiz, Blackface, seems to be ready for a showdown with another former member of the group, 2Face Idibia over the controversial hit song, 'African Queen,' which the former claimed he co-wrote with the latter.
Blackface is insisting that he also has a share in the glory and therefore is entitled to whatever revenue 2Face earns from the song. Though 2Face Idibia has been taking credit for the hit song, which was used as a soundtrack for a Hollywood movie, Phat Girlz, released in 2006, and which featured American star, Mo'Nique, Blackface has now cried out that he is also part of the song.
But why it took him this long to voice out is what many still question. Shortly after the Plantashun Boiz broke up, the relationship between the duo was still intact, and it was believed that only Face had a strained relationship with the other members of the group.
The strain in the relationship between Blackface and 2Face became obvious during the April 2013 wedding of the latter in Dubai, which the former didn't attend. When asked by a follower on Twitter why he was not at 2Face's wedding in Dubai, which was attended by Face, Blackface simply replied that he doesn’t go to where he is not invited.
Blackface's response raised questions and confirmed that the two erstwhile friends might not be on speaking terms. Speaking with Channels TV some days ago, Blackface stated that he was yet to receive any money from 2Face despite his incessant cry on the matter.
“I still haven't (received any payment from 2Face) because they have to backdate it, they have to check the revenues of the music, what it has generated, what is due to the co-writer and all that, all those things are just still hanging, but I still have one or two things that I am doing to find out what the issue behind all these stuffs are,” the singer said.

Ruggedman Blasts Ini Edo, D'Banj Others Over Silence In OJB Jezreel's False Donation Rumour
Popular rapper, Ruggedman, who shot into the limelight by taking a swipe at Eedris Abdukareem, Maintain and others has again lambasted some of his colleagues who have kept quiet over their alleged false donations to the 'Save OJB Jezreel' campaign.
There have been reports and counter-reports that some celebs have made donations towards raising the needed N16million for the treatment of the music producer, which the organising committee in charge of the campaign has debunked.
There were reports that Ini Edo paid the sum of N2million, D'Banj (N7million), 2Face (N1.5million), Olamide (N1million) and Ice Prince (N500,000), which the committee claimed are not true.
Last weekend, it was also rumoured that due to the false reports about these donations, the Lagos State government reportedly withdrew its support towards the cause.
Worried by this development and the inability of the managers of these celebs involved in this matter coming out to clear the air on the issue, Ruggedman has vented his anger and has termed the above celebs as "liars".
"Mr celebrity, if u r mentioned as donating money to #saveojbjezreel n its false u r as bad as d liars if u dnt come out n clear it. Miss celebrity,if u r mentioned as donating money to #saveojbjezreel n its false u r as bad as d liars if u dnt come out n clear it." The rapper posted online.

Nollywood hunky actor, Desmond Elliot, has evolved in no small way in his 14-year-old career. From a ‘fine’, talented actor, Desmond went on to directing, which he reveals he finds fulfilling while acting is rewarding for him. One of the ambassadors of a leading telecommunication group, Globacom, the father of four has carved a niche for himself which makes him one of the most sought-after by movie producers. In this interview with MERCY MICHAEL, the actor speaks on his staying power, marriage and fatherhood.
In spite of your relevance and steady rise in the industry, you are among the few stars whose marriages are intact. What do you do differently?
If you love your home, that is where your heart will be. I’m yet to see anybody who really loves his home and will want it to break. Do we have difficulties? Of course! There is no home without its challenges, oh yes! There are times the woman is tired. There are times the man is tired too, but most importantly it’s understanding yourselves. One thing I have noticed in a marriage or home is you must understand that a man is totally different from a woman.
The way a man thinks is totally different from the way a woman thinks. What a man considers his priority is almost 80 percent different from what a woman sees as her priority. And the most difficult thing in this world is a man understanding a woman. But if you understand a woman, the way they think, what tickles them, what makes them happy, simple, you will not have problems with them. Men that live very long understand that principle. I intend to live long.
What then is a woman’s priority?
What is a woman’s priority? A woman’s priority is attention, love, but a man looks at security, a man looks at, ‘I want to protect my family; I want to make sure I feed them.’ If you don’t have money but tell a woman ‘I love you’ ten million times, I’m talking of in a marriage now, and the woman sees prospect, the woman sees a hardworking man, she’s okay. Give a woman what she wants, she’s okay!
How were you able to understand this early in life?
Who told you it was early. It wasn’t early in life o, till now I still never understand finish. I’m telling you. You must understand the woman’s good day and the woman’s bad day. Don’t ask for too much and don’t expect too much. Most importantly, just make sure you are happy at all times. If you are happy then it rubs off on your home.
In one of your interviews you said you intend having seven children. When are you looking at adding three more?
Ask my wife o, na she get that matter.
But are you really serious about having seven children?
I do not mind at all. Maybe not now, maybe much later but I love kids. My dad had 11, my mom had five. So, ours was a large family. So, it’s not because we were not many, that’s why I want to have a large family, no. I just love kids. I want to have a big family like seven. But not now, when my wife is more rested and the kids are grown more and also when I have more money, so I can give them all the best. I love kids. Definitely, we’ll have more.
What’s fatherhood like?
Oh, it’s awesome. It’s one of the best things in life. It’s a good experience. I feel blessed, excited. Especially when they are growing up, you see them learn different things, want to say different things, you guys walk together, they tell you things, sometimes they correct you when you speak English.
Why is it that most stars don’t wear their wedding rings, like you are not wearing yours right now?
I honestly don’t know why. Sometimes, it’s because of the fear of getting it missing. When we are on set and you are not playing a married role, you’ll need to take it out. And sometimes it just might get missing.
When last did you put on your ring?
When last did I stop shooting?
And it’s not an issue, is it?
No, she kept it. She’s with it. Isn’t it better she keeps it than for it to get lost?
Why is that you don’t attend events with your wife?
The kids, now that the kids are growing, very soon we’ll be going out together. It’s pretty much because of the kids. She needs to stay home to take care of them, but she will be coming out more very soon.

Popular Nollywood star, Emeka Ike may be in an alleged serious scandal. As we learnt, he may go to jail if he fails to rectify the issue as soon as possible.
The controversial former AGN presidential hopeful, we learnt, is allegedly involved in a bounced cheque scandal that we learnt, may take a jury to get him out.
As the story goes, the actor, who received a chieftaincy title in Egbonike, Anambra State and was recently made a Sports Ambassador for the newly launch project ‘RYTHM and PLAY’, is allegedly in a serious scandal, but this time, not in Nollywood nor power struggle, but a scam act that involves footballers.
Emeka Ike decided to give back to the community where he grew up, in Ogudu Ori-Oke Ojota Lagos state, by hosting a football tournament. The tournament was called Desert Football Tournament and was organized by Unity Football Association (UFA)
Emeka said the main reason why he decided to host the tournament was to help young talented footballers discover their talents, and thereby reduce crime rate in Nigeria. He also revealed that Tottenham and Togolese striker, Emmanuel Adebayo, has agreed to assist some stars to be identified at the football tournament, adding that some major clubs in Europe are also sending scouts to the tournament.
On the posters in the streets of Lagos, it was included that Kanu Nwankwo and the Minister of Youth and Sport, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi will be their special guests of honor.
Each participating team was reportedly asked to pay the sum of N3000 for registration and 16 teams participated.
Emeka Ike reportedly promised that he was going to reward the winner with the sum of N500,000 naira, the first runner up with N100, 000, and the 3rd place winner will get N75, 000.;
Aside the popular musician, Daddy Showkey, who came to rack up the excitement of the tournament with his presence, no other public figure was reportedly present. Six months after the tournament, we gathered that none of the winning team has redeemed their winning. As you read this, Emeka was alleged to have totally ignored frequent calls or test messages sent to him, after he allegedly issued a bank cheque to the guys.
When contacted, Emeka Ike declined to speak with us on the story. However, his manager, who later spoke to us, said there is no iota of truth in the story.
According to Emeka's manager, the actor staged a competition that was aimed to make the society a better place, which turned out to be a success and glamorous.
On the allegation that known public figures were not at the event, the manager said it is not true as reported. He said apart from Daddy Showkey, other top personalities too many to mention attended the occasion.

29-year-old former BBA winner, Karen Igho has stepped up her search for love.

With all her popularity, Karen Igho is still struggling to find a man to call her own.
She took to her Twitter page to share her mind on her battle with loneliness.
She said she really needs a guy to love her and cherish her forever.
Karen Igho is currently in London for Chris Attoh's birthday bash.
Read her desperate plea for love below
How long can you stay with out sex?
Let's be realistic here. Does it really matter who calls or text who first. Does it really matter if you had sex the first time you met. What will be will be.
I just want the right guy and am scared of getting hurt cos when I love I love with all my body and soul.
It's so difficult with fame to find a guy that will love you and trust you. Not all women in the industry are loose.
Guys and girls that have more than one girlfriend or boyfriend, do you really love them all?
I can't double date. One guy is enough for me.
I will die for true love and I will give my all for true love. You don't have to be cool to be my man and you don't have to be rich to rule my world. All I want is your extra time and your kiss.
I wanna go on a date, go to the movies. God will make a way.

How Mum Encouraged Me To Go Into Prostitution-Dance Queen Kaffy Revealed!
Curse her or lampoon her, Kaffy, the dance queen is not moved, neither is she going to deny it that, she was once encouraged into prostitution by her mother. When they say wonders shall never end, some people may not readily understand until they hear some life testimonies that leave the mouth agape, such is the candid disclosure of popular dancer and musician Kafayat popularly known as Kaffy.
She dropped the bombshell about how her mother nearly made her go into prostitution so as to make ends meet. The talented dancer revealed this while she was addressing a group of youths at a programme held not too long ago.
She divulged this while encouraging the young minds at the event to learn how to read between the lines so that they won’t be guided because sometimes, the people that they look up to may be the one that will lead them astray.
The talented mother of two, also disclosed that she had to pay her way through school as she did not attend the conventional school that every other child attends because she had to wait for the regular school goers to close from school so that she could borrow their books and cover up but luck smiled on her when she made a record for herself and country at Amstel Malta World Marathon Dance, by breaking the existing record for the Guinness Book of World Records through dance. And ever since, she has not relented on her oars.
She now has a name for herself in the Nigerian dance world and beyond.......
Camilla Mberekpe Denies Confessing To Witchcraft…Explains How She Was Delivered By T.B Joshua
Camilla Mberekpe who was said to have confessed to witchcraft is making a U-Turn, on Sunday April 28th, the actress appeared on T.B Joshua's televised deliverance programme on Emmanuel TV, but contrary to earlier reports that she confessed to being a witch, her associate has countered that, they said she never did. She went for deliverance because she felt that an evil force was making life difficult for her.
Hear what her associate said, "Camilla never confessed to being a witch. There was an evil spirit that possessed her and it was the evil spirit that spoke through her. That does not make her a witch. You all should go spiritual and see all the things that go on around you. She took herself to church. Witches don't take themselves to church for deliverance. Witches don't operate that way. The evil spirit said, not Camilla said, so please let's understand this before we start calling her a witch.
Camilla returned to the church the following week to say she has been delivered 'from every bondage’ of Satan in her life' and her visit to the church had totally transformed her life.
From the look of things, it’s obvious that the spirit speaking through people to be saying all sort of gibberish might have been planted into them in the church. Still wonder how someone would confess to witchcraft and later said it were some authorities speaking through her. This calls for serious attention.
Why I Acted In The Soft-Porn Movie 'Dirty Secrets' - Tonto Dikeh
When few years ago controversial actress, Tonto Dikeh featured in a soft-smut movie called 'Dirty Secret', many tongues wagged. The actress was lambasted by many movie critics, who condemned the film and also Tonto for her role in the film.
In the said movie, Tonto Dikeh interpreted her role like someone, who is well grounded in the act she was acting in the film. She acted the role of a spoilt child, who sleeps with her father and her boyfriend.
Her father, played by Jibola Dabo, was a gynandrous, who also sleeps with his daughter's boyfriend played by Muna Obikwe. At a point in time, they all had a trio. Apart from the storyline, the three major acts played their roles like a smut movie.
But in a recent interview, Tonto revealed why she agreed to act in the film and interpreted it well. The Ikwere, Rivers State-born celebrated actress disclosed that she agreed to play the role because it was a true life story of a girl.
Tonto said she met with the person the storyline talked about. “Actually, that's a true life story,” she revealed. “I met the girl it happened to and that's why I agreed to do the movie,” she added

SWITZERLAND bans witches from flying above 150metres on broomsticks!
BELIEVE IT! or not; Swaziland bans WITCHES from flying above 150metres on broomsticks!
In Swaziland, the days when witches could enjoy the untethered freedom of flying high in the sky are, regrettably, over.
According to the marketing and corporate affairs director of the Civil Aviation Authority, Sabelo Dlamini, “A witch on a broomstick should not fly above the [150-meter] limit.”
Anyone caught flying their broomstick above the height limit faces arrest and a hefty R500,000 fine, the country’s civil aviation authorities said this week.
‘A witch on a broomstick should not fly above the [150-metre] limit,’ corporate affairs director Sabelo Dlamini told The Star.
According to American Livewire, traditional brooms in Swaziland are comprised of bundles of sticks or twigs tied together with no handle.
And, while witches are known to use their brooms for applying or flinging “potions” and other cursed substances across large areas, they are not generally used for transportation purposes.
And therein lies Dlamini's crucial, metaphorical oversight.
However, even though witchcraft is something that is taken very seriously in Swaziland —a country where people firmly believe in it and routinely accuse others of using black magic on each other — it can be assumed that Dlamini used the flying broomstick example only to illustrate his point.
Also taxes of witch doctors have been recently increased to boost revenue.

Full text of President's speech
Full Text Of President Goodluck Jonathan's
State Of Emergency Speech by Archmed:
7:56pm
Dear compatriots, 1. It has become
necessary for me to
address you on the recent spate of
terrorist activities and protracted
security challenges in some parts of
the country, particularly in Borno,
Yobe, Adamawa, Gombe, Bauchi, Kano,
Plateau and most recently
Bayelsa, Taraba, Benue and Nasarawa
states. These unfortunate events have
led to needless loss of lives and
property of many innocent Nigerians
including members of our security forces.
2. The recent killing of security
operatives by a cult group in Nasarawa
state is particularly condemnable. I
have directed that no effort or
expense be spared in identifying and
bringing to justice all those who had a
hand in the killing of the operatives. 3.
The activities of insurgents and
terrorists have been reprehensible,
causing fear among our citizens and a
near-breakdown of law and order in
parts of the country, especially the
North. We have taken robust steps to
unravel and address the root causes of
these crises, but it would appear that
there is a systematic effort by
insurgents and terrorists to
destabilize the Nigerian state and test
our collective resolve. 4. Since I returned
to the country after
cutting short my visit to South Africa
and aborting a planned state visit to
Namibia, I have received detailed
briefings from our security agencies.
These briefings indicate that what we are
facing is not just militancy or
criminality, but a rebellion and
insurgency by terrorist groups which
pose a very serious threat to national
unity and territorial integrity. Already,
some northern parts of Borno state have
been taken over by groups whose
allegiance is to different flags and
ideologies. 5. These terrorists and
insurgents
seem determined to establish control
and authority over parts of our beloved
nation and to progressively overwhelm
the rest of the country. In many places,
they have destroyed the Nigerian flag and
other symbols of state authority
and in their place, hoisted strange
flags suggesting the exercise of
alternative sovereignty. 6. They have
attacked government
buildings and facilities. They have
murdered innocent citizens and state
officials. They have set houses ablaze,
and taken women and children as
hostages. These actions amount to a
declaration of war and a deliberate
attempt to undermine the authority of
the Nigerian state and threaten her
territorial integrity. As a responsible
government, we will not tolerate this. 7.
Previously, we adopted a multi-
track approach to the resolution of
this problem through actions which
included persuasion, dialogue and
widespread consultation with the
political, religious and community leaders
in the affected states. 8. We exercised
restraint to allow for
all efforts by both State Governors and
well-meaning Nigerians to stop the
repeated cases of mindless violence. 9.
Yet, the insurgents and terrorists
seek to prevent government from
fulfilling its constitutional obligations
to the people as they pursue their
fanatical agenda of mayhem, mass
murder, division and separatism. 10.
While the efforts at
persuasion and dialogue will continue,
let me reiterate that we have a sacred
duty to ensure the security and well-
being of all our people and protect the
sovereign integrity of our country.
Therefore, we shall, on no account, shy
away from doing whatever becomes
necessary to provide the fullest
possible security for the citizens of
this country in any part of the country
they choose to reside. 11. We have a duty
to
stand firm against those who threaten
the sovereign integrity of the Nigerian
state. Our will is strong, because our
faith lies in the indivisibility of
Nigeria. 12. Following recent
developments in the affected states, it
has become necessary for Government
to take extraordinary measures to
restore normalcy. After wide
consultations, and in exercise of the
powers conferred on me by the
provisions of Section 305, sub-section
1 of the Constitution of the Federal
Republic of Nigeria 1999 as amended,
I hereby declare a State of Emergency
in Borno, Yobe and Adamawa states. 13.
Accordingly, the Chief
of Defence Staff has been directed to
immediately deploy more troops to
these states for more effective
internal security operations. The
troops and other security agencies
involved in these operations have
orders to take all necessary action,
within the ambit of their rules of
engagement, to put an end to the
impunity of insurgents and terrorists. 14.
This will include the
authority to arrest and detain
suspects, the taking of possession and
control of any building or structure
used for terrorist purposes, the lock-
down of any area of terrorist operation,
the conduct of searches,
and the apprehension of persons in
illegal possession of weapons. 15. The
details of this
Proclamation will be transmitted to
the National Assembly in accordance
with the provisions of the
Constitution. But in the meantime, let
me make it clear that within the purview
of this Proclamation, the
Governors and other political office
holders in the affected states will
continue to discharge their
constitutional responsibilities. 16. I urge
the political
leadership in Borno, Yobe and
Adamawa states to co-operate
maximally with the Armed Forces and
the Police to ensure that the exercise
succeeds. We call on the citizenry to co-
operate with our security agencies
to ensure a return to normalcy within
the shortest possible time. 17. I am again
approaching our neighbouring
countries, through diplomatic
channels, as done in the recent past,
for their co-operation in apprehending
any terrorist elements that may escape
across the border. 18. Nigerians are
peace-
loving people; these sad events
perpetrated by those who do not wish
our nation well have not changed the
essential character of our people. 19. I
want to reassure you
all that those who are directly or
indirectly encouraging any form of
rebellion against the Nigerian state,
and their collaborators; those
insurgents and terrorists who take
delight in killing our security
operatives, whoever they may be,
wherever they may go, we will hunt
them down, we will fish them out, and
we will bring them to justice. No
matter what it takes, we will win this war
against terror. 20. I am convinced that
with your support and prayers, we
shall overcome these challenges and
together, we will restore every part of
our country to the path of peace,
growth and development. Long live the
Federal Republic of
Nigeria.
